In the News recently.....

Elaborating on the last post, satellites are another high-resolution method used to reconstruct past changes in ocean circulation  and processes more broadly. The US have launched the National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System Preparatory Project (NPP). The goal of the project is to test new instrumental observations on Earth, monitoring ocean, atmospheric and terrestial processes.
